The world can be a scary place. Especially for teenagers, who are just starting to explore their own interests and figure out who they are. navigating the confusing waters of teenagehood can be difficult, but it’s not impossible to achieve purity and godliness. In this article, we’ll share some tips from a teen perspective on how to stay pure and Godly during your teenage years.

Purity: What Does It Mean?

Purity is a word that is often used in the Christian faith, but what does it really mean? Whereas purity may just refer to abstaining from certain activities to others, it may involve living a moral and fulfilling way of life following God’s commandments.

Making your life pure may include honesty, kindness, and sacrifice. To be pure also means putting God first in all we do. In everything we do, we should think about what would make God happy and do what He desires.

It can be difficult to live a pure life, but it is worth the effort. The rewards are worth it!

How Do You Stay Pure?

One way to stay pure is to avoid things that can tempt you. This includes anything that might lead to immorality or temptation. There are also some simple guidelines you can follow to help keep your mind and body clean:

-Stay away from pornography, which is a sexual image that is not real.
-Only date people who you know are good and pure.
-Avoid talking about sex or dirty topics around people who you don’t know well.
-Never touch someone else without their consent.
-Use contraception if you want to have sex, because it can help prevent pregnancy and STDs.

Bible Study: 3 Areas of Purity

The Bible is full of instruction on how to pursue purity and godly living. In this blog post, we will focus on three areas: body, soul, and spirit.

Body Purity

The Bible teaches that a person’s body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16–17). Therefore, we are commanded to abstain from sexual immorality (e.g., adultery, fornication) and all other impure acts (1 Thessalonians 4:3–5). We are also called to eat food that is clean and not polluted (Ephesians 5:8–9).

Soul Purity

We are also commanded to abstain from any kind of evil (e.g., lying, cheating, stealing) and to speak the truth always (Ephesians 4:25). We are also called to be sober-minded and pure in heart (1 Peter 1:13). This means that we should avoid anything that could lead to temptation.

Spiritual Purity

The Bible also teaches that we need to be cleansed from all unrighteousness (2 Corinthians 7:1) in order to have access to God

Object Lesson

Pursuing purity and godly living is important to teens. In this article, we discuss an object lesson on how to pursue purity and godly living.

One day, a boy was at a party and needed to drink alcohol to have a good time. However, he knew that drinking would make him behave impulsively and get drunk. Putting purity first, he decided not to drink.

Mr. Purity: Joseph

Teen Perspective: Pursuing Purity and Godly Living

Joseph was a teenager who strived for purity and godliness. He learned about these concepts from his father, who taught him the importance of living a righteous life. Joseph never compromised on his values and pursued righteousness at all costs. This made him a model teenager, and he was able to teach others about the importance of holiness.

Action Step

There are no specific steps to pursuing purity and godly living, but there are general principles that can be followed.

One principle is to always do what is right, even if it doesn’t feel good. Another principle is to stay focused on God and His word. Finally, it is important to have a positive attitude and to seek help from God when needed.

Who Tells You How to Dress?

It seems like everywhere you turn, someone is telling you what to wear. Your parents, your friends, the media. But who really has the right to tell you what to wear? God does!

In Scripture, we see that God upholds purity and modesty in dress (1 Timothy 2:9–10). In fact, He calls it “a glorying of [our] head” (1 Corinthians 11:7). This means that when we dress according to God’s standards, it gives Him glory. And as we know, God takes great delight in being glorified (2 Corinthians 6:17 ESV).

So if you’re looking for guidance on how to dress, look to God instead of anyone else. He knows what’s best for you — and He expects you to live a godly life worthy of His glory!

Youth Bible Study: Purity Takes Planning

It is important to remember that only abstaining from sex before marriage is just one way to purity, but there are more ways.

Another way to purity is by being careful with what you say and do. This means not saying things that will lead to temptation, and not doing things that could lead to sin. It is important to have a plan for how you will stay pure, and to stick to it.

Conclusion

Teenagers today are faced with a lot of decisions. They want to be popular, they want to fit in, and they want to have sex. Unfortunately, all of these things can come at the cost of purity and godliness.

I hope that by reading this article, you will see that pursuing purity isn’t as restrictive or difficult as you might think it is. All it takes is a little bit of effort on your part.
